removing items from your collection

You can remove items from your collection at any time. Depending on your sync settings, the item you remove might also be removed from your Zune device.

 

To remove items from your collection

  1. In the Zune Music + Video software, click Collection, then click Music, Playlists, Videos, Pictures, or Podcasts.
  2. Right-click an item, then click Delete.
  3. Select the option you want:.
    • Keep file(s) but remove from collection: Item remains on your computer but is removed from your collection.

    • Delete file(s) and remove from collection: Item is deleted from your computer and removed from your collection.

  4. Click OK.

 

To remove Zune Music Pass items from your collection

  1. In the Zune Music + Video software, click Settings, Account.
  2. On the Summary page, under Delete all Zune Music Pass content, click Delete.

If you accidentally removed something from your collection but you want it back, you might be able to restore items if you didn’t delete the files from your computer.
