Videos in your monitored folders appear automatically in Videos. Your favorite clips, music videos, and home movies can be sorted by category (TV, movies, music, or other), and within each category by name, date added, and other category-specific filters.

If your computer is running Windows Vista (Home Premium or Ultimate) and has a TV tuner, you can record and watch your favorite TV shows and movies right on your computer using Windows Media Center.

At this time, the Zune Music + Video software does not support the audio codec that is used to record TV programs in Windows Media Center in Windows 7, so you can't add recorded TV created in Windows 7 to your video collection. However, you can convert the recorded TV (WTV) files to a WMV format with a codec that is supported by Zune by using third-party software, and then add those videos to your collection.

When you designate your recordings folder as one that Zune Music + Video monitors for videos, Zune Music + Video will automatically add to your collection every TV show and movie that you record, which you can then sync to your Zune device and take with you wherever you go.
