When you start the Zune software for the first time, it automatically adds music, videos, and pictures, and podcasts on your computer to your Zune collection. After that, you can set up the Zune software to monitor whatever folders you store your media in. Any time you add or delete something in these folders, Zune updates your collection accordingly.

To add new stuff manually, drag a file or folder to your collection.

1. In the Zune software, click Settings, Software, Collection.
2. Click Add Folder for the type of media you want to add. Find the folder you want Zune to monitor and click OK.

You can also select one or both of these options:

• Restore files previously deleted from collection: If you've deleted items from your collection but not from your computer, add them to your collection again.
• Automatically update album art and media information: Keep your collection up to date with the latest song and album info.
