Try one of more of the following:

• If this error occurred during Zune setup, try both of these steps:

  1. In your browser, go to Microsoft Update and follow the instructions there to automatically update your Windows operating system, Internet Explorer, and other installed Microsoft programs running under Windows. NOTE: If you have a slow Internet connection, updating your operating system could take hours.

  2. Uninstall the Zune software on your computer and then download the Zune software.

• If this error occurred while buying, downloading, or syncing media items, try signing out of the Zune software and then signing back in. This should automatically update the licenses that govern the use of the items that you've downloaded at the marketplace.

Zune Software Error — C00D11CD

This error can occur during setup and installation of the Zune software, or when the Zune software detects conflicts with the media licenses that you got when you downloaded content at Zune Marketplace. Zune setup and installation errors can often be corrected by updating Windows components on your computer, or by installing the latest version of the Zune software. In some cases, Microsoft is unable to resolve media license conflicts.
