If your Zune player needs to be repaired, you'll need to register before you do anything else. After you register a Zune player, you can view and change your registration information, view your current repair status, and view the status of your warranty.

1. Go to the Zune Service website.

2. Sign in with your Windows Live ID.

3. If you have never registered your Zune player, click Register a Zune.

   If you have previously registered a Zune player and need to register a different one, click Register another Zune.

4. Enter the required information, and then click Submit.
