Things to Try

Try one or more of the following:

  • Make sure you have Internet access. For troubleshooting tips, see Microsoft Support Knowledge Base.

  • Go to Zune.net/support to check the status of the Zune service. Zune customers might be experiencing temporary problems.

  • Wait a while, then try connecting again.

  • Check your Internet connection to be sure you're online.

  • Make sure the time and date are set correctly on your computer.

  • Delete your web browser's cache and cookie files.

  • Set your web browser to automatically detect LAN settings.

 

What's Going On?

Usage-rights Error — C00D1385

The Zune software can't connect to Zune Marketplace to verify usage rights for Zune Pass music. It might be that the Zune software can't connect to the Internet at all, or there might be a temporary network outage with Zune Marketplace.
