When you're watching videos, they appear in landscape view, and Zune pad functions rotate to match.
| Action | How to |
| pause | Press play/pause to pause a video. Press play/pause again to resume. |
| fast forward | Press and hold the right side of the Zune pad. |
| rewind | Press and hold the left side of the Zune pad. |
| skip forward | Press the Zune pad right to skip forward 30 seconds. |
| skip back | Press the Zune pad left to reverse about 5 seconds at a time. |
| adjust volume | Press the Zune pad up or down. |
| get video info | Press the Zune pad while watching a video to see information about it. Press it again to return to the video. |
