Put your music collection on disc. You can burn songs, albums, podcasts, and playlists to audio CDs. Go ahead and play some music in the Zune software while burning CDs. You can even play the songs you're burning.

Personal videos and pictures get burned to data discs (data discs are typically compatible with computers only and probably won't play in your DVD player). Videos downloaded from Zune Marketplace cannot be burned to CD or DVD.

1. Put a blank audio CD or data CD/DVD in the CD or DVD drive on your computer.
2. Click Settings, Burn. Make your selections under Disc format and Burn speed.
3. Click OK.
4. Drag the items you want to burn to the disc icon.
5. Click the disc icon, then click Start Burn.
   

Check your burn list to see how much space is left on the disc. If you need more space, remove some items.

1. Click the disc icon.
2. Right-click an item you want to remove, then click Remove from burn list.

To restore lost or deleted Zune Marketplace media—or to put items you've purchased at Zune Marketplace on a new computer—follow these instructions. You can burn purchased music to audio CDs, but purchased videos can't be burned to CD or DVD.
