You can watch videos and look at pictures from your Zune 80GB or Zune 30GB on most TV sets. You'll need a Zune A/V output cable—you can get one with Zune Home A/V Pack or Zune Cable Pack. The Zune dock (sold with the Zune Dock Pack or Home A/V Pack) has extra options for connecting.
The Zune 8GB and Zune 4GB don't have video output.

If you have the Zune Dock Pack or Home A/V Pack, connect the minijack plug to the A/V output jack on the dock. Otherwise, connect the minijack plug on the A/V output cable to the headphone jack on your Zune.
Connect the A/V output cable's red, white, and yellow RCA plugs to the corresponding audio and video inputs on your TV or monitor. For TVs with only one audio input jack, connect either the red or white plug to the audio input.
You can also play Zune through your stereo or home theater.
On your Zune, go to settings, display, tv out and select on. Select ok. The Zune screen will go blank and the output will be sent to your TV or monitor.
Use your Zune to choose and play video and pictures on your TV.
To revert from the TV screen to the Zune screen, go back to tv out and select off, or remove your Zune from the dock.
Note Many TVs have a set of video input connections, often labeled Video1, Video2, and so on. To play your Zune on your TV, be sure to switch to the video input you plugged the cables into. For more information, consult the manufacturer's instructions.
If you've used the component video outputs on a Zune 80GB, be sure to switch the video selector back to A/V.
Component connection
If you have a Zune 80GB and want to send high-quality component video to your TV, you'll need a Zune dock and a component video cable (sold separately).
