Follow your favorite artists to get the latest news and find out when they're going on tour, and see who your friends are following.
Find an artist to follow
Go to Zune.net and sign in.
Search for an artist.
When you've found the one you're looking for, click on Follow this artist.
Once you've selected an artist to follow, your Profile page and your My Social page will display the artist along with news and concert dates (if they're on tour). You'll also receive weekly e-mail alerts featuring the latest news about your artists. You can follow as many as 100 artists at a time, and select the top 15 to appear on your My Social page.
To track which bands you're following, set your top 15 artists, or to quit following a band, go to your profile page on Zune.net and click Following.
To see who your friends are following, go to their profile pages and click Following.
To be notified about the artists you're following so you can stay on top of tour dates, album releases, and Zune exclusives, you'll want to set your Social notification preferences. In addition to artist news, you'll also receive notices when you get a new inbox message, have a new friend request, earn a reputation badge, or get a new comment on your profile.
The default setting to receive notifications about artists that you're following is "off." To make sure you receive your notifications when you want them, set your preferences here.
