The AC adapter lets you plug your Zune into a power outlet to charge the battery, providing a continuous power supply while it's plugged in. You'll need:

• the AC adapter
• your Zune
• the sync cable that came with your Zune

You can also use the AC adapter with the Zune dock (available with the Zune Dock Pack or Zune Home A/V Pack).

1. Connect the sync cable to your Zune (or Zune dock) and the AC adapter
   
2. Open the two-prong connector on the AC adapter, then plug it into a power outlet.

Your battery should charge to about 90 percent full in two hours and be fully charged in three hours.

• means that Zune is charging.
• means that Zune is fully charged.

When you're done charging, unplug the adapter and fold the connector back into place.
