The FM transmitter clips magnetically to the back of the charger. The charger powers the FM transmitter and charges Zune at the same time.

An autoseek feature makes it easy to find an open station to listen to. Autoseek finds stations that give the best broadcast clarity.

The FM transmitter remembers the station you tuned to most recently. You also can store two stations as presets for one-touch tuning as you drive through different areas.

Tips

  • To improve reception, try moving your Zune farther from the transmitter. The transmitter's antenna is in the cable that connects to your Zune.
  • To avoid draining your car battery, unplug the charger when you're not going to use it for an extended period.
  • The FM transmitter draws power whenever it's connected to a power outlet and power is present. If the light is on, it's drawing power.
  • To activate the backlight, press any button on the FM transmitter.
  • The headphone jack on your Zune device remains active when the transmitter is attached.
  • The volume setting on your Zune device does not affect the transmitter's output level.
  • The FM transmitter sleeps when Zune does. It will wake when you press a button on the Zune device.
