The Zune sync cable carries data and power to your Zune from your computer.
Sync and charge your Zune
Connect the sync cable to your Zune and plug the other end in to a USB port on your computer.
The sync cable also connects to the Zune AC adapter (available with the Zune Dock Pack or Zune Home A/V Pack) so that you can charge your Zune from a power outlet.
