It's your Zune. Make it your own.

Naming your Zune will give it an identity so that you can identify it in the Zune software. It will also help your friends identify your Zune when they want to beam a song or picture to you.

You can name your Zune anything you want using letters, numbers, symbols, or all of the above. Choosing a friendly name is a good idea, especially if you plan to go wireless and share your favorites with your friends.

1. Connect your Zune to your computer.
2. In the Zune software, click Settings, device, Name Your Zune.
3. Type your new Zune name in the text box.
