shop at zune marketplace on your zune

Want to shop at Zune Marketplace while you're out and about with your Zune? Here's what you need to do to get ready.

Prep your Zune for connecting to Zune Marketplace

  1. Make sure you're using the latest version of the Zune software.
  2. Start the Zune software and connect your Zune to your computer.
  3. Go to the Linking area in Device Settings (Settings, Device, Linking). Link your Zune to your Zune Tag if you haven't already.
  4. Check the box to Enable Zune Marketplace content purchase from device, then click OK and follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note:

  • Your Zune needs to be able to connect to a wireless network in order to access Zune Marketplace. It can use a public unsecured network — as in a restaurant, library, café, etc. — or a secured network, if you have the password for that network.
  • Zune Marketplace is available only in the United States, and purchases require Microsoft Points. You can only buy Points on your computer, so stock up before you head out the door with your Zune.

If you have a Zune Pass, you can stream and download songs from Zune Marketplace right on your Zune, or add them to your cart to buy the next time you sync with your computer.
