When you sync your friends with your Zune, you get their Zune Cards and up to three viewable playlists per friend: Recent, Favorites, and Top (most played) Artists.
If you have a Zune Pass subscription, you'll also get the music for each playlist (when available). Like what you see or hear? Add a song or a playlist to your collection, or—when you know you want to own it for good—add it to your cart.
Add friends to your Zune
In the Zune software, sync your friends by dragging their Zune Cards from the Friends page (in Social) to the device icon.
On your Zune, click Social, then click friends to see their playlists.
Add friends songs to your collection
When a song's available, click Add to Collection.
The song will appear in your music collection on your Zune. The next time you sync with your computer, it will be added to your computer's music collection, too.
Buy songs from friends playlists
When a song's available, click Add to Collection.
When no song is available, or if you've already added it to your collection, click Add to Cart.
The next time you sync with your computer, check your cart in the Zune software to review your pending purchases. When you're ready, click Buy All.
