Channels are themed, automatically refreshing song lists that you can subscribe to so you'll always have fresh music for your Zune. When subscribed to a channel, you will automatically receive updates whenever the song list is refreshed. Plus, you can sync it with your Zune, save it as a playlist in your collection, and add individual songs to your collection.
Channels are free to Zune Pass subscribers and have their own area in your media collection.
Subscribe to a channel
Go to Marketplace and select channels.
Select a category or click View All to search by genre.
Click on the channel of your choice.
Once in the channel that you want to subscribe to, click Subscribe.
To manage your channel subscriptions, go to Collection and click on channels. From here, you can unsubscribe from a channel, add it to your collection, and save it as a playlist.
