You can view the music in your collection by artist, genre, song, album, or playlist.

In artist view, selecting an artist displays the artist's albums and songs. Selecting an album displays the songs on the album. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple artists, albums, or songs. To select all items in a column, click the column heading.

• Show Content Type: Choose from the drop-down list to display all content, personal content, DRM-protected content, or Zune Pass content.
• Artists: Click the Artists column heading to sort in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order.
• Albums: When you have more than one artist selected, you can click the Albums column heading to sort by release year, by artist, by date added, or by letter of the alphabet.
• Songs: Click the Songs column heading to sort by album, by rating, or by alphabetical order.

In genre view, selecting a genre displays the albums and songs that belong to the genre. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple genres, artists, or songs.

• Show Content Type: Choose from the drop-down list to display all content, personal content, DRM-protected content, or Zune Pass content.
• Genres: Shows all genres in your collection, in alphabetical order.
• Albums: Shows all albums in your collection for the selected genres. Click the Albums column heading to sort by release year, by artist, by date added, or by letter of the alphabet.
• Songs: Shows all songs in your collection for the selected genres or the selected albums. Click the Songs column heading to sort by album, by rating, or by letter of the alphabet.

In album view, you can see large images of the album cover art, along with the title and release year. Hover over an album and you'll see icons to play a Smart DJ mix based on that album, to start playing the album, and to launch Mixview. Click an icon to launch the associated action.

Song view provides details about each song. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple songs. To select all items in a column, click the column heading.

• Show Content Type: Choose from the drop-down list to display all content, personal content, DRM-protected content, or Zune Pass content.
• Add and remove columns: For a customized view, right-click any column heading and select Choose Columns to add or delete columns.
• Sort by heading: Click a heading to sort the list by that category.

Select the playlist view to see all of your playlists, including those you've created yourself, your autoplaylists, and your Smart DJ playlists. Click a playlist to display the songs in the playlist. Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple artists, albums, or songs.

• Sort by heading: Click a heading to sort the list by category.

The Now Playing view displays the album, the artist, and the song list for the album that's playing now.

• Click the album cover next to the progress bar to see the Now Playing view.
• Click the Show List icon in the lower right to display all the songs in a playlist.
• Click the View Full Screen icon to display the Now Playing view in full screen on your monitor.
• To view more information about a song, hover over the song and click the Information icon.
• To rate a song, hover over the song and click the Rate icon. See here for more information on rating.
• Click Save as Playlist to save the tracks as a playlist in your collection.
• Click EXIT to leave the Now Playing view.
